2015 FriendRaiser Nominees

Celebrating our eco•heroes is fun
(and very important too)!

Why:
The life of an eco•hero can be tough—a lot of hard work and not enough recognition. We took an afternoon to raise up the eco•heroes in our life at the 2016 FriendRaiser, with over 100 attendees!

Check out the program here.

This year we featured:

  • A community potluck

  • Fun activities including; a nature scavenger hunt, Hula Hooping 101, and sustainable crafts

  • Local folk music by Jordan and Brittney Garvey

  • Nominee Meet and Greet—a chance for guests to get to know the nominees

  • Silent Auction—almost $1,000 was donated towards gift baskets and other items

  • Award ceremony highlighting our local eco•heroes.

Over 30 individuals, projects and organizations were nominated. This year, the awards went to...
