Speaker: Cody Smith, Director of Climate Initiatives at the Iowa Environmental Council

Cancer impacts all of us. While we know some of the causes — alcohol and tobacco use, exposure to UV light or tanning beds — other potential causes for Iowa's outlier status don't get as much attention. Over the past year, the Iowa Environmental Council has summarized research on the environmental risk factors of Iowa's cancer crisis. Our goal in this presentation is to share the findings along with suggested action steps.
