February has historically been a time for Urban Ambassadors to write "love letters" to their legislators in keeping with the holiday of Valentine's Day. This year we partnered with a couple organizations to up our game to inspire and empower you to be more sustainable in your community.

We are ecstatic to be able to screen the following documentary for you! The Age of Consequences is a documentary that focuses on elevating the conversation around climate change to appropriately address the threat it poses to national security. The film will provide an excellent backdrop for the following organizations to provide a call to action after the showing. We are partnering with Green Iowa AmeriCorps, Food Still Matters, and the Des Moines Chapter of ONE to bring you an inspiring night around the ever-present topic of climate change.

After the documentary is over, each organization will present their call to action and provide materials for you to voice your opinion to legislators.
