Back by popular demand and just in time for the upcoming garden season, Urban Ambassadors is inviting community partners experienced in composting to share their story!

We are honored to have The Holton Homestead join and speak about their composting service in Elkhart and Ankeny areas. We have also heard about a composting CSA in Marion and in Iowa City. We think it is time Des Moines should have one too! Join us for our April Meet-Up to learn all about composting, how you can reduce food waste and improve soil health in your own backyard. 

Urban Ambassadors is a 501(c) non-profit organization serving as your hub for sustainable living in Greater Des Moines. We help you clarify sustainability goals and connect you with local resources to meet those goals! Our monthly Meet-Ups (2nd Tuesday of the month) are a great way to connect with other like minded folks in the community!
