Although Bike Month is behind us, that doesn't mean we have to stop bicycling! More great weather is sure to come, meaning plenty of opportunities to spend time outside or use alternative forms of transportation. A number of people commented on a post in the Urban Ambassadors group about wanting more or better public transportation! So we figured let's talk about it!

We have invited Rob Muencrath, BCycle Operations Manager for the Des Moines Bicycle Collective, to speak about alternative and bicycle transportation. "The Des Moines Bicycle Collective champions stronger communities, vibrant neighborhoods and healthy individuals by encouraging active transportation choices." 

Meet us at the Bcycle Station at 13th and Grand and if possible, ride your bike to be more sustainable! Also, there is some grass nearby where you can sit if you would like... if so, bring your picnic blanket!
